Privacy Policy

• Your account — your name and email address, and the delivery address you give us.
• Your orders — what you ordered, the amounts, and your order history. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We keep the payment reference and status, and we never see or store your full card number.
• If you use parcel forwarding — the packages you declare, the shop invoices you upload, our photos and weights of your packages, a copy of a passport or government ID for customs paperwork, and a card saved with our payment provider (we keep a token, not the card number).
• Your messages — what you send us when you ask for help.
• Technical data — pages visited and errors that occur, used to keep the service working and fix faults.

We rely on these legal bases:

• To carry out our contract with you — buying, receiving, shipping and supporting your order.
• Legal obligation — tax, accounting and customs rules require us to keep certain records.
• Legitimate interest — to keep the service secure, diagnose errors and improve it, in a way that does not override your rights.
• Your consent — for our launch waitlist and for optional analytics. You can withdraw it at any time.

If you join our waitlist we collect your name, email address and country, and, only if you choose to give them, your city, phone number and what interests you. We use them for one purpose: to contact you about our launch and when we start serving your country.

• Legal basis — your consent, given by ticking the box on the form. We record when you gave it and the wording you agreed to.
• How long — up to 24 months from when you join, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is first.
• Sharing — we do not sell or share it. It sits with our database and hosting providers, who process it only on our behalf.
• Leaving — email hello@hometrolley.com with “Waitlist removal” in the subject line and we will delete your details. You can also use any of your rights below.

We share only what is needed to deliver the service, with:

• Razorpay — to take payments and refunds.
• Resend — to send order emails and status updates.
• Supabase — to store your account, orders and uploaded files securely.
• Vercel and Fly.io — to host the website and our servers, which run in the UK or EU.
• Sentry — to receive error reports, which contain technical details and not marketing data.
• Couriers, postal services and customs authorities — your name, delivery address and parcel contents and value, so your parcel can be delivered and cleared.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

We operate from India, so your data is processed there by our team. Our payment provider is also in India, and your parcel is handled by carriers in India and in your country.

India is not on the European Union's list of countries with an adequacy decision. We transfer your data because it is needed to carry out your order, and we limit it to what that takes. If you want to know more about this, write to hello@hometrolley.com.

• Order and payment records — for as long as the tax and accounting law that applies to us requires.
• Your ID copy and uploaded invoices — only for as long as they are needed to prepare customs paperwork and meet legal requirements.
• Waitlist details — up to 24 months, or until you ask us to remove them.
• Everything else — until you close your account and ask us to delete it, apart from what the law requires us to keep.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your basket, and we store your cookie choice. We do not use marketing or tracking cookies. Analytics (page views and page-load timings) are optional and run only if you opt in; you can change your choice any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. Under data protection law such as the EU or UK GDPR, or the law of your country, you may have the right to:

• Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix data that is wrong.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data, except records the law requires us to keep.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data while a complaint is looked at.
• Objection — object to use based on our legitimate interest.
• Withdrawing consent — at any time, where we rely on your consent.

To use any of these rights, email hello@hometrolley.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will reply within one month.

You may also complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live. We would like the chance to put things right first.
