Parcel Forwarding Terms

Last updated: October 2026

What we do for you

You get an India address and a customer code. We receive your online orders, check and store them, then combine and ship them to you, alone or with catalog items.

What to know

Declare every package. We cannot forward liquids, perishables or cash-on-delivery parcels. A paid dispatch cannot be cancelled. Storage is free for 60 days.

What we commit to

We inspect and photograph every package, tell you before we dispose of anything, and charge you once, at dispatch, never when a package arrives.

What parcel forwarding is

You shop on any Indian website and have it delivered to our India address. We receive, check, store and forward your packages to you, on your schedule, alone or together with catalog items from our shopping service. We are your shipping agent. We do not place orders with shops for you, and we are not a party to your purchase.

Your address and customer code

When you register we give you our India address and your own customer code. Use the code in the name or address line 2 when you order, so we know whose package it is. A package without your code may be held until we can match it to you.

Declare every package

Before a package can be dispatched you must declare it in your account: the shop, the order number, what is inside, its value, and the shop's invoice. A package that arrives undeclared is held until you declare it.

Please give accurate details. They go into the customs paperwork, and you are responsible for them.

One-time set-up

Before your first dispatch we ask for a copy of a passport or government ID. It is needed to prepare customs paperwork, and we use it only for that, as described in our Privacy Policy.

When your package arrives

We match it to your declaration, open it, check the contents against the lists of what we cannot forward, weigh it and photograph it. You see its status and photos in your account.

What we cannot forward

  • Liquids, perishable goods and non-vegetarian items.
  • Export-restricted goods such as lithium batteries, aerosols and flammable items.
  • Cash-on-delivery packages. We cannot accept them, so choose prepaid delivery when you order from a shop.

A package that fails inspection is rejected, and we tell you. It is then handled under the rules for unclaimed packages below.

Storage

Storage is free for 60 days from the day we receive a package. After that it is currently ₹100 per day.

The storage clock pauses once a package is attached to an order that is on its way, so you never pay storage for the time it takes us to buy your catalog items.

We never charge a card on our own. Storage fees simply add up, and when you are ready to ship we show them as part of the dispatch price, which you pay in one go. If the amount looks wrong to you, write to us before you pay and we will look at it with you.

Fees

  • Receiving: currently ₹200 per package.
  • Combining and repacking: currently ₹100 per package in a dispatch.
  • Storage after the free period: currently ₹100 per day.
  • Our service fee: currently 10% of those forwarding fees.
  • Shipping: by the final weight of the parcel, at the courier's rate with no margin from us.
  • Optional insurance, if you add it.

These are launch prices and we may change them. The price you see when you ask us to dispatch is the price you pay. You pay once, when you request a dispatch, and never when a package arrives.

Combining and dispatching

You choose which stored packages to send. We combine them into one parcel, and you can add catalog items to the same parcel with one checkout and one shipping charge. Only packages that have been received, inspected and weighed can be combined with a catalog order.

The parcel must stay within the destination's weight limits. If it turns out heavier than the limit when we pack it, we return packages to storage, in the order of priority you set, and refund their fees and the shipping difference. Catalog items we have already bought are never removed.

A dispatch cannot be cancelled

Once you have paid for a dispatch it cannot be cancelled and packages cannot be taken out. We say this clearly before you pay. The only exception is the weight case above.

Customs paperwork

You own the goods and you are the sender and the importer. We prepare the customs documents as your agent, using the values on your shop invoices, and we take care to describe, weigh and value the contents accurately. If you give us a wrong invoice or description, you carry the consequences. Duty and VAT are explained on Shipping & Customs.

Unclaimed packages

You can ask us at any time to send a stored package to an address in India, and you pay the delivery cost only. After 60 days the same option costs the delivery plus a flat ₹500 handling charge.

We tell you on days 60, 75 and 85 after the package arrives. If it is still unclaimed 90 days after we received it, we may dispose of it. Rejected packages follow the same rules.

Shops, returns and refunds

You bought the goods from the shop, so returns, refunds, warranty and disputes about them are between you and the shop. We cannot arrange them for you. See Cancellations & Refunds for what we do cover.
